The Dan Panorama Tel Aviv is the Conference venue. The hotel is situated across the
road from the Mediterranean and is within walking distance of many of the city's attractions
and sea front bars and restaurants. It is just a walk down the promenade to the ancient
port city of Jaffa, where you can wander around the artists’ quarters, narrow alleys
and flea market. A walk in the opposite direction will take you into Tel Aviv, where you can
stroll through the Carmel market or the quaint Neve Tsedek neighborhood.
The hotel offers many facilities, including a fitness center and spa.
The Meeting will be conducted in English.
PASSPORTS AND VISAS
Prior to booking your flight ticket, please ensure that your passport is valid until May 31, 2020. Participants from some countries require a visa to enter Israel. We suggest that you check this with your travel agent or on the website of the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
LETTER OF INVITATION
Upon request, the Secretariat will send a personal letter of invitation to participate in the Meeting. It should be understood that such an invitation is only meant to assist participants raise travel funds or obtain a visa and does not represent a commitment on the part of the Organizing Committee.
The weather in November in Tel Aviv is usually pleasant and like the spring. Temperatures are between 60-75° F or 16-24° C. Short sleeves are fine during the day. On November nights, you will probably need a light sweater or jacket. The average amount of rain observed during November in Israel is 70 mm and you would typically have 10 rainy days.
Participants should book their flights to Ben Gurion International Airport (near Tel Aviv).
